G'Day Fella's,
Thats some fine shooting there Guy!
CZ make some mighty fine shooting firearms and I love my two CZ rimfires (.22LR and .17HMR)!!!
FYI, if your rifle is a 453, it should have a Single Set Trigger!
So, unload and make sure the rifle is clear/safe.
Even with the bolt handle up...
G'Day Fella's,
Just a final follow up on this project.
After some effort, the only .17HMR ammo I able to locate, was CCI brand with 17grn tipped bullets (@ $28.00 Australian Dollars, per box of 50!).
A couple of weeks back, I was away bush and fired a couple of groups with this combo.
Both...
G'Day Fella's,
Here is an image of some of the component parts for my 6.5 Rem Mag.

I'm just working on either a HTS stock or one of the New Zealand made, Carbon Fiber stocks (SG Gunstocks or Senator Stocks).......

G'Day Fella's,
Truck Driver, I use H4831sc, CCI 250, Sako Cases with 120grn Nosler B/Tip's and 120grn Barnes X type bullets.
Both bullet types are Moly coated and chrono'ed at just under 3350 fps, with 1/2" to 5/8", 5 x shot groups!
This is in a Winchester Factory M70 All-Terrain (stainless)...
G'Day Fella's,
35 Whelen, I only have 2 x 6.5's rifles but they both have 1in 8" twist barrels.
One of these is a 6.5 x 47 Lapua (140 & 142grn bullets) and the other will be a 6.5 Rem Mag (120 and 140grn bullets).
Hope that helps

G'Day Fella's,
Muzz, a couple of mates of mine have .280AI rifles, and love them!
Please find attached, a couple of images of some targets and their chronographed velocities.
FYI, these loads were safe in this rifle, and cases are still fine after multiple reloads!
Hope that helps

G'Day Fella's,
RJM158, I currently own 2 x .25-06 rifles also.
One in a 30+year old Remington 700 and the other, a couple of year old Kimber Montana.
I'm very happy with both rifles but the 700's barrel has seen better days, thats why I bought the Kimber!
When I get a chance, I will rebarrel...
G'Day again,
Here are some additional images of this RMR sight in place.
With the Red Dot on about Middle illumination, on a bright sunny day.
Up close to it view, from the rear.
Point of Impact, at 50 meters (with a 300 grain bullet @ 1550ish fps).
FYI, I was aiming at the white target...
G'Day Fella's,
Further to this, I finally decided to purchase a Trijicon RMR, red dot sight for this project.
I initially designed and machined up a Picatinny rail mount, that gave me the ability to use the removable Trijicon mount.
Unfortunately, this located the sight to high on the barrel...
G'Day Fella's,
And After..............
Front action/barrel junction area.
Rear Tang area.
Front screw mount area (note wafer thin amount of bedding compound, around screw hole).
If the accuracy of this rifle is poor, I will initially remove just this wafer thin amount of bedded compound...
G'Day Fella's,
Thank You for the kind words!

Homer
G'Day Fella's,
I have owned and seriously used my 550B reloading press, for around 20 years now.
I'm an absolute fan of Mr Dillon's products (Pistol Dies, Primer Crimp remover etc) but especially his reloading presses!
Anyway, several thousand rounds ago, being short on spare time, I did a...
