    338 All Around

Not an expert by any means here. I shoot a 300 Win Mag. I have never shot a 338. Not adverse to them, just never have shot one. I upped my grainage to a 200 grain PT this year as I am in quite a heavily grizzly populated area, we have moose and elk and the occasional deer  when the...

Nice, congratulations! The openness of the terrain would be so weird for me. We are all mountains, hills, trees, and underbrush.

    RUGER AMERICAN RIFLE

I was looking at one of these in 7mm-08 for the wife to use. Nice weight and length, however I was not impressed with the clip/locking mechanism on the magazine. It looked a little flimsy. Can anyone give any review on that?

    Temp sensitivity...

Whether it makes a difference or not, I made the switch over to non temperature sensitive powders about a year or so ago. In my head, I find that if I can eliminate that one Possible variable, all the better for me. We reload here and it can be -20C. When we hunt in the early fall it can be...

    Your bucket list handgun?

A buddy of mine has a Kimber Crimson Carry .45ACP I didn't know I wanted one until I shot it. He handed it over and said here, give her a whirl. I didn't clue in that I was shooting it at 50 yards until we went to the target. I though it was at 25 yards. Wow, what a shooter. That would be the...

Thanks Doc. Now that I have more powder to play with I may just start out at the beginning again and see exactly what is going on...and then take your advice to the reloading bench.

    Seating Depth Question...Part 2

So... I took out my Savage 10TR with what apepared to be a good load. I was reading over a previous post that when I get my bullet comparator, (Which i now have) I should try seating the bullet in by .05" increments and it will really dial in. So i tried that. Holy cow...something was going...
