Thank you for the good advice and helping me get started the right way. Swaro actually offers a ring with the turrets numbered that will drop right on the scope. Although, I like having a good reason to buy a new scope and I could put this one on the 22 Creedmoor I've been thinking about to...
I don't like the way these come apart, especially for hunting and hoping for an exit hole. I love the way they shoot though. I've found them to be accurate in my 7mag, 6.5prc, and 6mm.
Those are decent little guns. They have a model that has a barrel from BSF, the same barrel used on some Weatherby 307 model rifles. Their 110 Ultralite has a Proof Research barrel, which in my opinion is one of the better "off the shelf" type barrels you can get. To me the biggest draw back...
It is that style. You have to count the clicks or set one of the dots on a preset number of clicks with a range. I can change it out for a turret that is numbered though. It sounds like that is something I should do?
Thank you for the great detail. The recoil on the 7mag or the 300 WSM doesn't bother me and holding in the scope is not difficult. These are also both equipped with an OMNI style break that helps a little. One thing that has been consistent from all you guys is a gun I'm comfortable with and...
He shoots factory ammo, he is not a reloader. Last year he was carrying 150gr Winchester silver box. Can't say I remember the exact bullet in that load though.
I believe it’s a true ballistic turret, it just has preset rings that you can adjust to a set number of clicks.
Check it out and let me know if it’s correct or if I should consider changing scopes.

I enjoy the process in all honesty. I typically can be dialed with less than 20 rounds. I look for tight group, typically I'm after half MOA, i like my SD below 10 and prefer my ES below 20. It's normally not a big deal to get there. If one gives me fits I may redo my OCW or extend my seat...
This scope has the customizable ballistic turret and it is FFP. It's a plain reticle with no hash marks. I have three adjustable stops on the elevation turret where I have set it up using JBM Shooters calculator with my customer load data. My zero is at 70 yards (due to deer drives and woods...
I would happily continue to pay the fee, I would prefer the registering went away. It took me years to get a can because I didn't want anything I owned of that nature registered and tracked. It was finally my buddy that mentioned how many pistols and rifles I have bought.. that it's already...
Thanks for the detail!
"Don't worry about a 20" 6.5 PRC, it is more than capable as well."
The 20" barrel was a big part of actually why I bought it too. I wanted the lightweight for some rough terrain hunts or ones that I am doing a lot of walking. I have a 30 cal suppressor I may run on...
Thanks, this is great advice.
He bought it new, and with my memory everything is a few years ago. I just shot him a text to see when he got it. I would guess he bought it new when the new gen came out because this one was probably on sale. That's his MO haha. I know it was before we had kids...
Hello All,
I'm a long time hunter and shooter. I have shot rifle, pistol, and shotguns my entire life. Did a lot of pistol competition before we had kids, have done some plate competition with AR's and have been hunting since the late 80's.
I have never done much for long range shooting...
Dang, hate that I missed this one. These guys aren't too far from me. I actually have a customer who's shop is 10 minutes away. I always make a pit stop on days I am over that way. It's a great store, they have a fly fishing shop (TCO Fly Shop) down stairs and across from that fly shop is an...
