Nice Buck and rifle! 110AB's gotta be a great choice for for the "Bob" if you have an Elk tag. I've got some old 100gr PT's that might work well to. You've had experience with the 250 so you know how the 100gr BT's work. Keep us apprised. CL
Absolutely, I eat way too many versions of cold cuts...(daily sandwiches). If I retire that will be rule #1. no more sandwiches for lunch! But, that preparation might change my mind. What a neat idea! CL
Boy that there is a classic rifle. As has been noted that should be great, quick handling rifle. The Luey is a perfect choice. Do you have plans for the Redfield? CL
This just plain has me PO'd. That sort of price inflation will ruin there own market. They can kick me off the board if they want. Who can afford that- or afford to practice. At half that price you'll never get the kids started on the sport. Yes I know .22 is cheaper etc. Not the point...
Hey Fotis - that is a handsome buck! Great shot w/ a classic .25. I'll bet there wasnt a whole lot of "holdover" at that velocity! Hope you had a great time! CL

Thanks all. That CFE is wierd stuff, at least not at all like 4350 and 4064. Stuff looks like pixie dust and as slippery as quick silver. Not having a powder measure, the old spoon and scale make measuring a challenge. Not a problem per se, but takes a little different technique. CL
Resizing some cases a while back, and decided to experiment. The attached photo shows a sharpie marked case that I ran into the sizing die, adjusting down in 1/4 turns until I got thr result you see. Looks to me Like this would be "Neck sized". You can see the sharpie removed on the neck and...
So... I found a pound of Hogdon CFE 223. Load data is avaialable for Speer hot cores in 100gr and 87gr varieties. Hornady also lists loads for the 75gr V-max's both of wich I have available. Loads look pretty speedy. What I dont have is anything for 100gr BT's any body able to run a quick load...
