    Shilen Barrels

When I had my 280AI built I selected a Match Grade Shilen barrel which my gunsmith put on for me. It shoots great and I am 100% happy with how it performs.

    Extra $12 Worth It?

I haven't shot Barnes but the E-tip shoots great out of my son's 6mm Remington and it performs very well on game.

    Chronograph?

I've used the Pro Chronograph for years and it has served me well. I've shot rifles, pistols, arrows, and BB's through it and it worked great.

    I couldn't resist, Winchester Model 70

What a beautiful rifle Guy! Way to go. Great cartridge also even though I'm really a 30-06 guy for my BIG cartridge game. I like the 4.5-14x40mm Leupold with the B&C reticle. That would be a great scope on that rifle. JD338's choice for the 3-15x42mm Leupold is super also. I...

    New Remington rifles

Just think if Remington put a 1-8 twist in a 6mm Remington with a medium length action at about 3.00" inches of magazine length. A person wouldn't need the 6mm Creedmoor, 243, or any of the rest of the lot.

    280 Remington / 140 grain / Reloader 17

In my 280 Remington with 140 gr. Partitions using IMR4350 in a 22" barrel I got 2940 fps with good case life and no pressure signs.

Reloading Goals For The New Year

I'd like to get 50-100 rounds more loaded up for each of my rifles and my son's rifles. We shoot ONE load in each rifle so hopefully this will be doable.

Junk pile jeep and a husky.

Nice! Making the pooch carry his own treats and supplies. I like it.

    Elk hunt invite

Plan on shooting it a couple times when you arrive and making any adjustment then. It shoots like a house afire so you should have no trouble making a couple corrections when you arrive. I feel that's the best way to make sure you are on target.

    Elk hunt invite

Fantastic cartridge and superb bullet! You are all set and go forth with complete confidence. The Accubond is a wonderful bullet.

    Trapping Success pics

Show us your great pictures and love to see the kids out with mom and dad trapping. I haven't trapped since High School and I miss doing it. I do love to call coyotes though and I'd love to get a wolf that way. Heading out in a couple days to see if I can call one in. I'm a member of a group...

    Remington Model 600 Torque

On my (now my sons) Remington 600 Centennial model I've never actually torqued the screws but have just had them nice and snug. The 6mm Remington shoots very well in that rifle. I have not purchased one of these yet but am seriously considering it so that nothing happens to the original...

    Model 600 Remington

I started hunting with a Remington Model 600 Centennial in 6mm Remington. I used it for years and years and now it belongs to my son Jeff. He took his first antelope and deer with that rifle. It shoots really well with the rib and of course it's been left on the rifle as it is the Centennial...

Shorter, lighter bullets in the 7mm PRC?

160 gr. Accubond, Partition, and the 150 gr. E-tip would be your Huckleberry!
