    Here's my 336 Regular Carbine

Guy, I have had this rifle for 29 years now. It has taken a few moose, several black bear and my first woodland caribou over those years, at ranges of 5 to 225 yards. I have used the Winchester factory 200 gr Power Point ammo for all of its hunting to date, and it will produce 1" groups...

In your CZ, you should be able to go to 64-65K for pressure...but if you are starting to get sticky bolt lift, you may not get there in your rifle. AccuBonds also tend to like more jump to the lands than what you are trying. You might want to start at 0.050" and to see if they will perform...

    A Daytime Surprise

Cool to see. Yes...looks hungry... Adolescent that hasn't yet learned enough to be as successful as they need to keep weight on...or a nursing female? Best keep the pets inside! And the kids/grandkids close.

    New Tikka 6.5x55

Tikka has a good reputation for accuracy. No questioning that. But as with any rifle, there is no guarantees as to what the particular rifle is going to like in terms of the ammunition, whether it be factory or handloaded. Trial and error there to find the best combination for the rifle. Many...

    New Tikka 6.5x55

This will depend on the individual rifle, as to which IS more accurate. I have some very accurate rifles with both types of stocks. The potential for accuracy probably lies with the synthetic stock as it will be potentially more stable regardless of the ambient weather conditions e.g., wet...

    Mannlicher rifle

FOTIS, Well, I did shoot the factory Nosler 140 gr AccuBond ammo in the two rifles and can provide an answer as to what I found in my 20" barreled mannlicher stocked rifle vs the 24" barreled single shot rifle: 20" barrel produced 2353 fps, where the 24" barrel produced 2419 fps with this ammo...

    Here kitty kitty

If I recall correctly, they average a deer a week... But cougars are known for going on killing sprees...as some sheep farmers can attest to. Makes one wonder if that occurs on wild prey too...but as they are not usually in pens probably doesn't occur as frequently...

    Trail camera recommendations

Gerry, probably a good thing there is no cell service where you wanted to set your trail cams; we cannot use the ones equipped for cell service here in BC. (unless they have changed the regs)
