I was surprised to see this cat wandering around in the middle of the afternoon. I’m thinking it looks a bit skinny so probably looking for an easy meal.

Adolescent that hasn't yet learned enough to be as successful as they need to keep weight on...or a nursing female?
Best keep the pets inside! And the kids/grandkids close.
