    416 Weatherby

416 Wby is my favorite hunting rifle , you will enjoy the rifle. Unfortunately I mainly run RL-26 in mine , bought a case of it when I got the rifle. I did work with Hybrid 100V with the 350gr Mag Tips. If you do a search on this forum I have most of my load work up on here.

    Federal’s 7mm Backcountry

I seem to remember when Weatherby started to chamber the 338 Lapua in the MarkV people were having issues with Hornady brass sticking in the chamber. They must cut their chambers on the tight side. Hopefully the newer ammo will solve your issue.

    First Time Out This Season

After work I went and sat out in one of my new blinds. It was a chilly 80* 😁 and had 6 deer come in. I ‘m going to throw a plug in for the TIDEWE see thru ground blind and Bog’s Deathgrip tripod. Both of these are new to me this year and one outing I’m impressed.

    Misfire

    I wonder who’s primers they’re using.

A new kid on the block...

2555 is pretty stout for 16” barrel with 172 grs. Ernie it just amazes me your level of accuracy with those pistols. I’m happy if I can hold 1 MOA with either of mine.

    Quick load; 300 HH please.

A lot of times the top BT node is slightly above maximum pressure. I’ve had decent luck splitting the difference , adding 2 consecutive node together and dividing by 2 and find the middle of a node. Most times backing down to the next one is the best option. Before ordering a barrel I mock up...

    0.1fps SD Almost Perfect

With the horsepower of the Ravins , I guessing you’re running the 125s

    My young Huntress!

Congrats to the young lady. Looks like Uncle Fotis came through😉

    357 Magnum ES/SD

Fotis are you weighing your charges or throwing them? With multiple powders and primer tried , I would think you would have hit a good load.

    0.1fps SD Almost Perfect

Those 2 are hauling the mail.

    0.1fps SD Almost Perfect

Jim did you ever check the velocity of those Ravins?

    0.1fps SD Almost Perfect

This bow will stack them on top of each other. I do all my practicing at 40 yds.

Organized effort to limit kills and drive-up license costs

The last time we have a wolf season we have the same issue.

    Quick load; 300 HH please.

Find your barrel length on the left side and move along to the right to see if any of those Node numbers match the BT number from QL estimate.

    Federal’s 7mm Backcountry

With a lot of newer powders that are available one can increase velocity safely. Not sure increasing pressure 25,000 psi is worth it. Probably a good thing reloading this caliber is next to impossible or someone will be swallowing a bolt.

    0.1fps SD Almost Perfect

Well it was my Wicked Ridge X-bow. I finally got around trying my Garmin with it.

    140gr Partition in 6.5 CM?

Hmm , Partition and Creedmoor in the same sentence. 140 is the ideal weight in the CM and H4350 should be an ideal powder.

    35 Whelen and 250gr Bullets

I’m 50 bullets into this load. Some time back (it’s in this post) JD gave me some 250gr Speers. That was a piece of cake to make a good load. So I know it’ll shoot 250s.
