I concur about a written complaint, that gives you a paper trail. If you bought X and paid for X, they need to make good by sending you X, not Y, not Z. If they refuse, then you can, should you wish, address the matter to the Attorney General of Missouri; there is a link on the AG's website...
That is an absolutely beautiful rifle. Also, I really like the display you assembled for the photo; just a really nice group of artifacts (maybe not the best word).
I reread the thread, and I may have missed it, but how long is the barrel on that rifle? Just asking, because I'm curious about 338-06 performance, as I like the cartridge and would need to almost certainly re-bore a rifle into it. Thanks.

That's a biiiiig dog. I heard a lot of them bear hunting in Idaho and when you're all alone on a mountainside, and it's almost dark, and you can hear them calling to each other a couple hundred yards away... Slightly uncomfortable.
