I bought this one the day after the news broke and may have a line on a new .270 SS FTW. Where in So. Cal. are you? Reason I ask is the SS Classic 06 I put on layaway could be available if the .270 comes through.

The 110 sounds good to me too. I am in the process of selecting a 6.5 bullet for an antelope hunt. The BT has me worried due to it's history. I am looking at the 100 PT or the 129 SP.

Thanks for considering us 6.5 folks. My feeling is the 130 in the 6.5 is overkill for deer/antelope and on the light side for elk. I understand why with the length issue the AB can't be a 140. Therefore, the 120 AB would be great for deer and us Nosler fans could stick with the 140 PT for...

I agree with the 6.5 being between 120-130. Can't wait to try them out in my Steyr .260 Remington.

I'm with POP on this one... Anyone use the TSXs? Looking for a bullet that has a protected tip that hits hard. Hence, the TSX and think the Accubond would be awesome if it shoots anything like my .270 and .300 WSMs.

Ron, Congrats on the elk tag. My kids drew the junior deer hunt in 2B. Not sure what to expect as we have never been there. Been to 5A but thats it. Happy hunting.

I was wondering if folks from the other companies poke their head into this site for a little "recon" action. As with most of us, I think we match the bullet to the game we are trying to harvest. I am not convinced deer need a premium bullet any how.

I was not going to hold my breath on the 6.5 Accubond so I looked at the TSX... I like my tip protected 8)

Typo, I meant .260 instead of .280

Is the Accubond to tuff? Will the BT "blow up or fragment?" Is the PT the way to go? I guess most shots are long range on these critters. Any pet loads are appreciated. I have a bunch of VV powder.
