Son's first year hunting since returning from Baylor with double Master's Degrees.

Thank you. It's been rough with the shoulder saga. The last two surgeries were numbers 4 and 5 on my right shoulder. This has to be the last one, I'm praying anyway. Previous doctor misdiagnosed my problem and kept doing surgeries after they failed and not addressing the problem. I do not...

Son's first year hunting since returning from Baylor with double Master's Degrees.

My son moved back a year ago from Waco where he attended Baylor and he graduated with two Master's Degrees. He got his Montana residence back and was able to hunt again for the first time in 12 years. Jeff left the house a few mornings ago and went to a spot east of town about 20 miles. He...

    WTB STOCK

If it doesn't have to be a factory stock, I am really impressed with the Boyds nutmeg laminate we put on my son's Ruger MKII 6mm Remington. You can even have them pillar bedded before they ship them out, and several checkering options. https://www.boydsgunstocks.com/

    7 PRC Loads

IMR7828SSC is what I use in my 280AI with both the 140 gr. Partition and Accubond. Same load for both bullets. The Partitions Chronograph at 3230 fps and the Accubonds 3186 fps.

    USPS Tracking Joke

I'm going to start a conspiracy theory here. I think the mail/government is doing this intentionally on firearms related items. I recently ordered some paper rifle targets from Rite in the Rain. I know, who knew they made targets that had the same weather properties that Law...

    165gr vs 180gr Partition

I've shot nothing but Nosler bullets since my father started me out at the age of 12 loading 100 gr. Partitions for deer, antelope, and elk if I got a shot at one. Those were in my Remington Model 600 in 6mm Remington. Never got an elk with that 6mm but did later with my Ruger 1B in the same...

    Insulted by Mule Deer?

Great pictures and story Guy. Love the rifle even if it is chambered in the 6.5 Man Bun! We have a Boyds wood laminate on my son's Ruger MKII in 6mm Remington. They are fantastic stocks and are rock solid and strong. I had it pillar and glass bedded, and the checkering done on it by...

Best all around load .257 Roberts

110 gr. Nosler Accubond That bullet would be fantastic in the 257 Roberts I feel. I sure love the Accubond and in the 257 Roberts you would be able to load it to good velocitys. The Accubonds have been easy to load for in a 25-06 that was my wifes, my 30-06, and my 280AI. According to...

    .375" 260 gr Nosler Accubond

Never had any Accubonds fail me. I do not us the Accubond LR, just the standard Accubond. Pictures tell the story. 25 yards into water jugs lined up. 25 yards into water jugs. Smoking right along. 3208 fps at the muzzle.

For Sale: Remington M600 350 Rem Mag

Great little rifle and in 350 Remington magnum that thing I bet bites on both ends! My father purchased this Remington 600 Centennial in a little country store near the Beartooth Mountains in Montana in about 1968 for $99.00 brand new. It was built in 1964 to commerate the 100th anniversary...

Favorite powders for 120 PT in 25-06?

In my wifes 25-06 I used IMR 4350 with 120 gr. Nosler Partitions. The load was 49.0 grs. that chronographed at 3000 fps in her Remington 700 Mountain rifle with the 22' barrel. It shot well with no pressure issues and long case life. Worked on lots of antelope, deer, and a couple of elk.

    Bullet shelf

Holly crap what a mess! I suspect you might have said a cuss word or two under your breath. Now your new shelves look just like something my father might make. Everything he made was stout stout stout. I think I pretty much took right after him in that respect. As for your new 270...
