Congrats, you will love to have a crony sitting around to use. One tip I can say is make sure you have a good battery in it. And make sure that it is laying flat.
In fact I did,
5.7 grains of Ramshot Silhouette
GFL/Winchester brass
CCI small pistol primer
124 Grain Hornady XTP
OAL 1.085
I tried 5.9 grains (max on the ramshot website) but it was too hot of a load and the primers had a nice peak on them. With the 5.7 grains it is perfect. I have not put a...
Hey guy's as the title says I finally got myself a revolver. It is a Ruger GP100 357 Mag with a 4 inch barrel. It came with 2 speed loaders and a custom fit holster. I paid only $350.00 for it. What do you think?
I used them in my 25-06 when I had it and they were great bullets. But I would not use them on anything bigger than a Antelope because they did not hold together for me very good. They are very accurate though. I also have used them in my brothers 7mm rem mag with great results.
I have been reading alot on this for quite a while and they will always bring up the fact that you made the bullet for total devastation. So I will just probably buy some Cor Bon bullets for this. (Due to that fact Corbon sounds like Corbin  ) But I will just stick with loading for...
How much extra powder can be added to get a +p or +p+ round? Or do I just have to buy store bought ammo? I just got some 124 grain Hornady XTP bullets to reload.
what would be the best bullet for personal defense, the 115 grain hornady XTP, 124 grain Hornady XTP or the 147 grain Hornady HP-XTP-BT? I was thinking the 147 grain but the 115 will have a faster follow up shot and less recoil, even though the gun doesnt have much recoil as it is.
the 250 I loaded up was on a single stage press  but I spread the time out for a few days. What is your OAL? if you don't mind me asking. I am going to pick up some of the Hornady XTP/HP next time I am at Cabelas.
Hey guy's I just starting loading for my 9x19 (9mm luger) and I am wondering if I could get some of your loads for your guns. I have already loaded 250 rounds of 124 grain berry plated bullet HP with Ramshot Silhouette. I am also wondering if I could get a quickoad for the 9x19 using the 124...
I am glad that you got it fixed. Here is the video I made yesterday for anyone to get the case out just in case you dont have the kit. http://s659.photobucket.com/albums/uu319/corbin9191/?action=view¤t=MVI_2529.mp4
It should be a shooter due to it being a sako. My friend has shot a few deer with the 125 grain NBT in his 308 win, he never had to use a second shot yet. If you can please post some picture when you get a chance.
like DrMike said, we have all done it. Since I have to LEE press all I have to do is slide the shell holder off the press when it is touching the shell and then get the correct shell holder and slide it onto the brass and the press at the same time. I will make a quick video and post it up for...
This is the reason that I do reload all of my stuff. I should have just stuck with getting the pound of powder I walked in the door to get in the first place.
