    ?

So I got rid of my 300 RUM a few years ago and ended up with a 300 Win Mag because of cost of the brass cases for the RUM. Go looking for 300 Win Mag cases (Nosler) and they are $10 more than the 300 RUM. What the heck is that all about? Not complaining so to say, just don't get it. No...

Interesting. I emailed them last week but have not heard anything. Might be shopping for new dies now. Corey

When I get done hunting and figure out how to post photos again I'll show how bad these are Corey.

    210 grain 30 caliber ABLR

Do these bullets require a special stem for seating? My hornady dies are leaving a very bad ring and indentation near the top of the bullet (300 wm). Corey

    Hornady Brass

That might explain why i'm having a hard time selling it then. Corey

    Choices

If you had to choose between RL 22 and RL 26 behind a Nosler 180 AB in a 300 Win Mag which one would you choose and why? I have both and I'm having a debate on which to try for my 300 WM when it gets here. I also have some H1000 but Nolser does not list that powder and bullet weight combo...

    What am I doing wrong

Just an update I've decided it has to be my barrel. I bought this rifle years ago as a donor action that I've decided to do just that. Ordered a McGowen barrel for it yesterday and I'm selling all my 7mm RM stuff. Corey

Testing RL 26 in the 280 Remington

I wonder if it is possible to use RL 26 in a 30-06. I know they do not list an data about it. Corey

Load for 30-06 with 190gr ABLR?

My buddy just loaded some in his 30-06 with RL 17. He was getting 2760 fps which seems to be pretty good. Corey

    What am I doing wrong

Its the stock barrel, and yes the chronograph was set up correctly. I been talking to people today that know more about reloading than I. Apparently the factory rounds were showing slight signs of over pressure as well, flattened primers. I've come to the conclusion that either I take it to a...

    What am I doing wrong

Well you guys have given me some good ideas. My buddy dropped off some other bullets to try. I also have some older Partitions (the machined kind) I may try as well. Corey

    What am I doing wrong

I was getting over 3050 fps second. Way to fast for the 62 grains of H1000. Corey

    What am I doing wrong

So I do have a beam scale I'm not a big fan of electronic. I have tested it by weighing different weight bullets and it seems to be right on. I have actually seen florescent lights cause a magnetic field that will effect a scale. I do not have those but have LED. I did think of that and shut...

    What am I doing wrong

And I'm not new to reloading, I've been loading for 18 years now and this is the first real issue I have ever had. So that's why the confusion for me. Well outside my knowledge range. Corey

    What am I doing wrong

Thats what I did when I got new lots of RL 22, in fact bought four pounds of the same lot (all they had). I dropped down to the Nosler min and started seeing issues right away. Thats why I thought it was the powder and switched powders, but had the same issues. Corey
