Have you chronoed that load? I wonder how that bullet does at lower velocity. I've shot deer with that bullet close to 1600 fps in my 454 and it holds together very well.

Not sure why they have to discontinue all of them and relaunch a "new" one. Unfortunately getting and installing a switch is becoming ridiculously easy. We're seeing it more and more on the job. I'm glad to see them addressing it.

Also if using H110/W296 do NOT go below minimum charge weights and use magnum primers for best results. Its a great powder for top velocity in the 44 among others.

Nice shooting y'all. I'm suprised from the lack of blood trail on the bow buck. The Accubond or Partition would be dynamite in the 6mm Rem. Those Ruger Number 1's are great looking rifles.
