    elevated box stands

Using a narrow plank under the elbow of your trigger arm elbow is a great way to shoot better from box blinds. most people have some kind of shelves under the windows anyhow to lay it on. staple carpet on it for noise reduction

    280AI Rebuild

I usually start at 26. in case I want to shorten it later. But I never do. I love some velocity without having to stomp on the brass too hard.

    My best group

There was a time when m700’s were consistently capable in the hands of a good loader/shooter. without much “accurizing” with good components and a decent scope they just performed.

    7mm 160 gr. BT

I’d have to think the AB would be better on elk than a BT. Just in case the angle is a little off……but as always placement is key

    .257 heavies

The existing .257 AB is 110grs, that’s why I’m thinking a 125 or so would be a noticeable difference. Hope I get to find out!

    Same or Different?

When I start load work for a gun i go to ballistic tips first. No matter what I intend to use after that. If it won’t group BT’s to my liking it has an issue of some sort!

    .257 heavies

Mine usually come to rest between 5-10 thou off the lands, whatever that number is. the 3250 figure I threw out was velocity. I’m running 115 BT’s at 3400 right now.

    .257 heavies

I’d volunteer to test some prototypes with my .25 Sherman!

    .257 heavies

A 500ish BC at 3250’ or higher would be an exceptional performer. Between the accuracy and lethality I’m an AB addict

    .257 heavies

Please please please come on with some 120-125 gr accubonds. Many of us have fast twist higher hp quarter bores and don’t care for the bullet construction of your competitors, the ones that beat you to the punch.
