Recent wolf poaching case in Washington, the authorities used Satellite images to help find the criminal. There are also innumerable trail cams at road intersections, trails etc by not only sportsmen but researchers and Forest employees. When only a dozen or so people drive down the only road to...
My wife has one like the black one. She paid quite a lot for a brand name, came to find out the bottom was vinyl after a bit of wear. Sometimes making it yourself can be better quality. I bet those teachers will really get a lot use and enjoyment from those.
Looks like we are in for another oil price drop (with drop in gas prices and increase in natural gas prices likely) like the last two time Popus was in office. The downside is like the last times, we are losing drill rigs and refineries in the US because the price of oil is too low to make a...
Nice,
Shop space is an issue. For a long time my shop was a half basement where I had a double needle, a needle feed, a bar tacker and an Adler shoe patch machine as well as an 8 ft cutting table and fabric racks. Talk about putting away the pencil before I could get out a pen!
The Adler had...

The ones in WA state have been visiting from Canada for years, but since about 2008 decided to stay. WA does have quite a management plan with a group in charge that includes stakeholders from all facets. Pretty balanced in my opinion, but the past governor overrode some decisions.

It's over the top if you see wolves with your cattle that you can't kill them. Cause they are not going to quit once they start eating calves. Here in Washington a rancher can stop an attack. We have plenty of wolves in the NE corner of the state and would love to share some with those on the...
My friend was worried that reloaders might be dangerous misanthropes.
Nope, bunch a nerds doing nerd things..

I had lee make me a 25-284 gauge. It had a tiny bit too large a diameter to fit in sized cases easily. I put up with it for a few years then contacted them. Sent them a sized case and the gauge and they sent me a new one, no charge. Works good.
Most accurate bullet I have tried is the 240 XTP. 296 powder. I haven't shot a deer with, but that would be the one I would try.
Old ruger flattop with scope.
My dad took several whitetail with it using a 240 grain hollowpoint cast bullet and 2400 powder.
