Plus 1, never have had a stuck case since I started using it. Use to use RCBS sizing honey and would stick cases regularly. the only thing I use a spray lubricant for is to lube the inside of the case mouths of .45acp since I use a custom powder funnel that expands the case mouths and super...
I've been here a long time and honestly never knew there as a sub forum and glad I didn't and still don't won't to know.
There are lots of forums I visit and when they get crappy, I say my piece and leave them hanging not going back.
Some forums have features where you can block or disregard the...
I bought an E-1 3-9 with the red dot feature, and it is very clear with the red dot being very round, with the dot turned off you have a small black target dot reticule. It's a great scope for low light conditions when you have trouble picking up the cross hairs.
I have it mounted on my 35AI.
I wouldn't shoot modern fast burning powder because it builds pressure fast, even wimpy loads. Should it come unlocked you would get a piece of brass flying out at your face. Ther should be loads for triple 7 or other black powder substitute powder that you could use safely.
Fantastic collection and well displayed. It's amazing how our ancestors used the materials on hand to make various tools that we have copied using metal and plastic.
For light loads Hodgon Tite group is your friend. A starting load of 4.0grs under a 185gr LRNFP produces 819fps in an 8" barrel and 6,600cups. 4.5grs under a 200gr LRNFP produces 846fps in an 8" barrel and 8,600cups.
This powder responds well with lower then published powder charges in pistol...
With that short barrel and light weight, I would go with a 180gr-200gr lead semi wad cutter being a close-range belly gun to hold recoil down and still have the terminal effect desired from a large hole and full penetration.
Yeah I'm a SWC fan in handguns and they just flat-out work. No need for...
No ballistic expert but rate of twist has a lot to do with it bullets key holing. My 257 Roberts with a 1-12" twist will not stabilize anything over 115gr and then it has to be a round nose bullet in 115gr.
I believe the older 22-250s barrels were twisted 1-12" to shoot light bullets very fast.
If you buy or can compare a factory magazine or other aftermarket with a Metal Form you will be surprised to see that the follower is the only difference sometimes. I have Wilson, Chip McCormick and MecGar, granted I only use them in my full custom 1911 .45 acp and my 38 Super but Metal Form are...
Saw this over on Weatherby and thought I would share the link,
it makes for interesting reading if you are tired of the black or camo paint on your synthetic stocks, there are other links over on Weatherby to you tube videos which this forum doesn't support

I only use made in the USA Metal Form magazines in all my 1911s, with that said the Mcgar magazines are made in Italy.
Most US manufactures rely on Metal Form for their factory magazines, The Military pistol teams only use Metal Form and nothing else.
By the best and save money buy not buying...
Paul Sorry to hear of your recurring cancer, that treatment doesn't sound like a lot of fun, good luck with it and you have my prayers for full recovery.
Don very sorry to hear about this and my prayers go out for him on a full and quick recovery.
Cancer when caught at an early stage can be curable unfortunately stage four is pure hell for those who face the treatments.
Young men in their 30's should start getting regular checkups and me doing so...
