I appreciate everyone’s input but I’m still looking for some quick load data even if it’s kinda generic. My nephew has my brass tumbling them so I can’t get a h2o capacity.
Thanks
Pretty close to the same load I’m using. It’s a hammer. I hope it works for you in your rifle. In my AI I’m shooting Remington fireformed 280 rem brass, rem9.5 mag primer. 60.5 gr of R26 and the 160 Accubond. 25” barrel cooking along at 3065fps. It’s under 1/2” and will fill the freezer fast.
Thanks Texas, I have seen the little bit of Nosler data, I don't have access to a Hornady book. Just hoping for a little bit more info. I hear of guys using H1000, Rl26 etc but there's no data that I have seen.
I'm In the process of putting together another hunting rig. Its a 7mm SAUM in a Remington Model Seven. 22" barrel.
There's not a ton of published data out there so I was wanting a little help/guidance. I have the following components, and these I'd like to try.
Powders: RL26, IMR 7828SSC...
So let's try a TRADE or something, I have a Model Seven 7SAUM SS coming and I think the 150 weights would be ideal for this gun. Anyone willing to trade for 7mm Nosler 150 Accubond, Hornady 154 Interbond, 150 Ballistic tip, 160 Ballistic tip or Accubond. 7 SAUM brass or dies etc. Let me know...
I have for sale 172, 150 gr Swift Scirocco II
And 100 Hornady 162 SST. Package deal. Please all these 7mm bullets together.
$200 tyd. My 280 AI loves the 160 AB and BT. So these can go down the road. Thanks for looking.
I have for sale a very nice condition Remington 740 Woodsmaster. As near as I can tell this is a 1956 manufacturer year. Bluing is almost new. No bluing wear on the muzzle or on the barrel anyplace. It has spent its entire life in a gun case. It’s an old family rifle that with near as I can...
Has anyone had any experience with a 260 or 7mm-08 Ackley Improved. Both word work nicely I a REM 700 SA.
What about a 6.5x06? Seems like a good one as well.
I have a buddy who shoots that bullet exclusively in his 280 AI, if memory serves me right it’s RL23 and Federal Gold medal match 215 primer with Nosler brass. It’s extremely accurate and will fill the freezer full of elk in a hurry.
