Pretty close to the same load I’m using. It’s a hammer. I hope it works for you in your rifle. In my AI I’m shooting Remington fireformed 280 rem brass, rem9.5 mag primer. 60.5 gr of R26 and the 160 Accubond. 25” barrel cooking along at 3065fps. It’s under 1/2” and will fill the freezer fast.

Thanks Texas, I have seen the little bit of Nosler data, I don't have access to a Hornady book. Just hoping for a little bit more info. I hear of guys using H1000, Rl26 etc but there's no data that I have seen.

Has anyone had any experience with a 260 or 7mm-08 Ackley Improved. Both word work nicely I a REM 700 SA. What about a 6.5x06? Seems like a good one as well.

I have a buddy who shoots that bullet exclusively in his 280 AI, if memory serves me right it’s RL23 and Federal Gold medal match 215 primer with Nosler brass. It’s extremely accurate and will fill the freezer full of elk in a hurry.
