My 6.5-06 likes a stiff load of H4831 and 140gr AB or Amax. 1/8 twist. My 260 and 6.5x284 also like this powder bullet combo.

A 300gr bullet and H110 has been my go to heavy load for my Redhawk for a long time. Just bought a S&W 329PD looking at a 265gr bullet and H110 as a heavy load in this handgun.

I have a Rock Chucker that I bought used back in the 80s, still works great. But my Co-Ax gets more use these days.
