Scope and mounts arrived today in the US mail instead of UPS. And yes the box was swelled up like a football due to air packs expanding.

Great Customer Service! I ordered a Leupold VX3i and Tally rings and bases from Midway. Today the box arrived with nothing in it except packing bubbles . One end was crushed and taped up. I called Midway, told them what I had received. They said they would replace the order and ship it out today.

The new Nosler #8 book lists the NABLR load data under the 140/142 gr listing. H4831 has worked well for me with the 140 gr AB and 140 gr AMAX.

I have Shilen barrels in .17, .223, .243, 7mm and .338 with no complaints.

After reading the above post. I changed the BRAND of brass I was using. No sign of pressure of Retumbo and 140 gr AB.

My 338 Fed with a 1/10 twist likes a 210 gr TTSX and W748. For some reason it hated a 200gr AB.

I have not shot an elk with a 260 but think it will work. The 140 gr AB has worked well for me on deer and antelope with my 260 and 6.5x284. Complete pass through with lots internal damage. I use H4831 in the 260 with the 140 AB. The 142 gr ABLR shoots well in my 6.5x284 but have only punched...

I didn't crono the load. In my rifle I would call of Retumbo the MAX load with a 140gr AB.

IMR 4007ssc and a 50gr Vmax is working well in my swift. I believe this powder has been discontinued. When I run out I will probably go back to Varget or 4064 and the Vmax.

I have used Retumbo and a 140gr AB. In my 264 I did not get to before the bolt got sticky. Pressure spikes up fast. I didn't get to the MAX Hodgdon Retumbo load with 120 gr bullets either
