+1 on this There are alot of barrel manufacturers that make a prefit for certain actions. Sure everyone does the 700, but there are alot of options for the Tikka which would probably be my choice if i were choose an action from a donor rifle.

I second the neetsfoot if you have some already, other options would be some boot oil/conditioner, I like Obenauf's leather oil for softening and helping break in leather
