Scotty , that's a fast charge .
I bought the scale before the powder handling attachments were available . at the time , I thought I was nuts for spending that much on a scale , but I've never been sorry for buying it . I really like the scale , if it quit today , I'd be ordering...
what I usually see for cancelled hunts are last minute . you'd need to have your bags packed and ready to go . kind of hard for guys that have a job . it would still be worth watching though , maybe you could make it work in your schedule .
I've been thinking on these Yukon hunts since...
in the thread asking what's your favorite wild game , a lot of guys said moose . I've been eating moose all week , and finally thought to take a pic . it's a moose roast with potatoes , carrots , and onion . I put a packet of onion soup mix in and fill it with water . I slow cook it in a...
I took a quick look for the one that uses a powder throw , or powder dump , and then trickles up to spec , but I didn't see them . I'm not sure if each new model supersedes the older models maybe .
if you have never used a magnetic force scale , you don't know what you're missing , compared...
I use feeler gauges under the flat bottom of the scope . you have to be careful though . as you tighten the scope pull out a few thousandths of gauge , so you don't bend the scope . I "THINK" I put a review in the new products on here , about the wedges for aligning scopes . they didn't...
for the same money , I'd be looking hard at the A&D auto trickler set up . I have the scale it is great . I don't think I've heard anything negative about the auto trickler set up .

after trying a couple different ways , I prefer the false shoulder . it's not a big deal to form the shoulder. it also helps extend case life , especially on belted cases
maybe a call , or e,mail to Ramshot . I kind of remember reading that GRAND , and MAGNUM were the same powders . the difference being , GRAND is supposedly temp stable .
************** I could be wrong on this . sometimes my rememberer doesn't remember to good . ******************...
I don't see a problem at 97% fill . I'd use a drop tube funnel , it will help settle the powder in the case as you pour it in . I'm pretty sure the nosler book uses what's known as ; usable case capacity . this is the usable capacity with the seated bullet being considered .
the...
I'll be 64 in June . I've been less interested in hunting the last 4 or 5 years . at one time I was whitetail hunting 2 or 3 states and sometimes going west for elk . my last couple western elk hunts were solo DIY hunts .no one was interested in joining . I dropped out of the group I...
this post reminds me I have one that needs sent back . I swapped out a scope for a very similar issue , about a year ago before a moose hunt . I couldn't take that scope, knowing what it did .
if you're already set up to reload , definitely yes , load for it . or if reloading is something you have wanted to do , yes do it . for what everything costs today , and the cost and availability of components I'm not sure I'd start reloading for just one rifle .
