Looking for any pros or cons on the 300 win mag with 200 vs 180 gr accubonds.
Gun to be used in will be a Remington model 700 BDL shots will be under 400 yds
and on all different species here in B.C.

Well ended up with the 300 win mag so still looking for brass but also looking for some bullets

Nosler partition protected point 180gr
Swift scirocco 11 180gr

No You cant find much Remington brass on the shelves but hoping someone might have
some they don't need.
Im open to other brands but have had the best luck with Remington so far in my other calibers.
This includes some animals guided for.
Here in B.C.

Thanks for the info guys, I loaded up a few more with the IMR 4831 at 56 gr and will see how it groups again for it was the best accuracy so far.

I have used IMR 4831 with the Speer 180 gr BTSP for years with good results.
I am open to the H4350 as well and would like to see the data for it as well with the Nosler. Its just I have more IMR 4831 and 7828ssc on hand then the H4350 and trying to save it for the 280 and 7mm-08. Plus...

Got some 180 gr Nosler partition protected points to try in the 30-06
Tried 3 powders I have so far in order the best was 56 gr of Imr 4831
then 59gr of 7828ssc then 55gr of H4350
Shooting a Remington model 700 24inch barrel with a COAL of 3.330
CCI 200 primers and Remington brass.

I see in the bullet test page some one tried them awhile ago and said they performed well on the water jug test. Was curious as to peoples thoughts on them for may be able to get some. My new speer manual does not have them in it but my old one does.
Will be using them out of a 338 win mag.

Ya I will try them and see, the store said they had both the protected point partitions and accubonds in the 180 grain but by the time I ordered they only had one box of the partitions left wanted to try both, oh well will find some accubonds at a later date unless really like how the partitions...
