I've been running the same Remington 1187 12 ga for the past 12 years for upland, waterfowl, turkeys and skeet. I will shoot my grandpas red label or citori now and then but I always seem to come back to the old beat up 1187.

Thanks for the quick load! I think I'm gonna leave well enough alone. This load is plenty good for my needs! Time play with 95 btips in my .243. Thanks again guys

65.5 gr and another quarter turn. Looks pretty good to me! I'm tempted to go another quarter turn, but on the other hand this group is plenty good for my hunting.

I've had at least 5 different loads developed for this rifle but none of them were all that impressive in my mind. I figured it's time to do a full on development instead of accepting the first sub moa group. Makes for a good winter project. I appreciate the input SJB!

That's what I'm thinking. I have the original 64 gr load to fall back on so I might as well keep playing with seating depth.

I made it out after lunch and shot the new test loads. A quarter turn deeper on the seater seemed to open the group up instead of closing it. Oh well, it was worth a shot! Now I need to decide if I should test my original 64 gr load again or keep playing with 65.5. 65.5 gr is the left target and...
Well I loaded up 3 more rounds of 65.5 and 66 with an extra quarter turn on the seater. Hopefully I can get out to the range in the next couple days and see how they shoot.

I was thinking about going deeper. Seems like every load I shoot in that gun is around or sub moa but also consistently 2 in 1 out. So I may keep playing with it. Thanks for the input!

Here is an update for anyone that wants to see. I loaded up 3 rounds each starting at 64 gr of r19 up to 66. My components were Winchester brass, wlrm primers, and 200 gr nosler partitions (2nds). It's looking like 64 gr. Is my load. 65.5 is a little hotter but a little bigger group also. Thank...
Good deal! I need to check and see how much 19 I have left. It's been a while since I strayed from 4350. Thanks for the input!

I picked up some factory 2nd .30 cal 200 partitions last night because I couldn't pass on a box of partitions for less than $15. I have been thinking of working up a load in my tikka 300 wsm. Is anyone running 200s in their short mags? I have both imr and h 4350 plus some r19 on hand. I am...
I have an mk-ii ultra light in .204 ruger and a hawkeye in .243 win. Both are solid shooters and great rifles. The m77 is probably my favorite factory rifle. I hope to acquire a few more once funds allow it.

It's not rl 17 but I'm running imr4350 with 150 btips out of my model 7 7-08. Accuracy is consistent sub moa but due to my lack of a chronograph I couldn't tell you the velocity.

Just finished up shooting. Between the new scope and cleaning the hell out of the barrel I'm back to under moa at 100! Thanks for the suggestions, it's time work up a load with some ballistic tips.

I just trimmed the brass on my last batch of loads. I spent a good chunk of time cleaning it yesterday, still have dirty patches coming out, so I'm thinking I didn't get it as clean as I thought I did last time. My issue could be a lot more simple than I made it out to be. Haha.

Thanks for the tip! My gun is stainless synthetic but I checked the action screws when my groups first opened up. All is well on that front.

Well I just bought a bag of 50 new WW brass and some break free foaming copper solvent so hopefully that'll get me back on track. Thank you for the help!
