Midway, Midsouth and others are selling Nosler Firsts, you are selling seconds for more $$. If and when they increase their prices I doubt they will be much more if any $$ than your seconds. Right Now Nosler itself is selling Partition Firsts for only $4 more than your Seconds per 50. That's...
Sorry if this has been asked and answered, but my search came up empty.
I just picked up a K of Nosler 10mm-180gr JHP bullets to load in my 10MM and 40 S&W. I know this bullet is post Nosler #6 therefore no load data there. Does Nolser have any load data available for this new bullet in 40...
I'm sure the author of QL would care. As for what is wrong with this country, that's really not what this is about, but since you brought it up. The reason we in such deep sheet with this new Socialist Regime is that to many Americans want everything free. They want everything handed to them...
A few years ago I posted some load data out of my Speer 13 manual. I scanned it , copied it and posted it. I was quickly reprimanded by the forum Adm. This was a violation of copy right laws and it was not allowed. I was told it was OK to post load data from manuals, it was not OK to copy...
I'm not sure myself. I'm just surprised that with the huge amount of QL data being handed out free on this forum that the author of QL has not asked it to stop as he has on other forums. Copyright laws etc.
I know I have given QL data out in the past and I will probably continue to do so...
WOW, seems like the Nosler reloading forum has become more of a FREE Quickload forum then a reloading discussion forum. On the first page alone there are 43 posts with 9 of them being QL requests. What ever happened to paying for for products and services?
Holy Crap, I must be doing something wrong! I plugged data in for 10mm Auto and what a shock. I compared QL to published load data and they are not even close.
For example Hornady #7 lists 14.9gr of AA #9 with their 180gr bullets. Quickloads puts this charge at 112,671 PSI.
Here is my QL data...

Loading new brass, sized or not, will usually produce a ton of runout. The best way to get your die set up and check actual runout is with brass that has been fired in your rifle.
QL works best with your COAL and case capacity of H2O of a fired case.
Cartridge : .243 Win.
Bullet : .243, 85, Sierra HPBT 1530
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 2.710 inch or 68.83 mm

Don't scrap your brass due to neck runout. Neck runout doesn't necessarily transfer into "bullet" runout. Neck runout is measure on the outside of the neck. If you are not turning your necks, checking the out side of the neck walls tells you very little. It's the inside of the neck that will...
I called the Pro Shop the other day. I was told that they are still around and will be selling Nosler seconds when they become available. They have been listing small quantities on BivWak cuz that's all they have been able to get. It's a way for them to sell small quantities without listing...
Well, I haven't had a lot of time to check out BivWaks prices, but I see little difference in price than most other retail outlets.
For example, Wideners list 25 cal 115gr BT for $13.86, BivWak has this bullet listed on Auction for $13.70. Then there is the 7mm 140gr Nosler BT listed at...
Thanks Rich. I did wade through all the junk and came up with the same list of factory firsts as you.
Does this BivWak auction site mean that Nosler will no longer be selling seconds via Shooter Pro Shop? If not were is the outlet for Nosler seconds? I have yet to see any listed on BivWak.
