I like the regular Fusion's and they use to by my go to for breaking in a barrel or getting a scope close before dialing in on my preferred load. The cost of Fusion's went up and I stopped using them. My intent and desire for the Fusion tipped is just in that round itself though.

That's probably a Christensen thing, not a cartridge thing. My wife has a 300 WSM in a Ridgeline that does the exact same thing no matter how lite I load it or what ammo I use. I've shot roughly a box of ammo in 3 different visits out of a Weatherby Alpine in 7BC with no bolt or primer issues.
