I always "uniform" the flash holes on new brass, I use a RCBS tool which removes the burrs and I believe bevels the flash hole also.

I have been reloading since '76 and I stuck one probably 15yrs ago. I have always used RCBS lube along with a pad.

7X57 or Roberts, two classics utilizing the same case.

I have always felt you need to find out what your rifle prefers for jump with a bullet just as you have to find out what powder it likes the best with a given bullet. What works for one person's rifle may not necessarily be the best in your rifle.

The best powder I have found for 85 to 100gr bullets in the past 30yrs has been IMR4831 in the 243. I like IMR4064 and RL19 for 75 and 80gr bullets.

I normally start .010 off the lands and load three rounds each .010 deeper and test. I am thinking about loading a series of every .005 and see. This is always after I find the best powder charge, I start 2-1/2gr below max and load three every 1/2gr up to max.

That is what I will do, but I also want to do a seating test of .005 increments as I have always used.010. I would just like to see if I am missing anything.
