    Presses and Impressions

I too bought a RCBS Rockchucker when I was a teenager in 1976 and still use it to this day - 50 years & counting! I've had a few other presses but have given them away; RCBS Jr & a Dillon 550 as I don't shoot 1,000 of round anymore..... I do regret getting rid of the Dillon at times & have been...

No dominant eye- anybody else have this experience?

Maybe have her try a red-dot vs iron sights & see how she likes it. Both eyes open with a red-dot should make it easier to get on target quicker and gives better depth perception.

Does a Nosler Model 48 replacement trigger with an adjustable shoe placement exist?

When I was investigating options for my Model 48 Long Range I was advised by Nosler that the trigger is made by Timney. So I wrote Timney several times over the span of a few months and never received a reply! If you do follow up with Timney I would be curious if you actually get a reply.

    Hunting knives recommendations?

I have never heard of Noblie and had to look them up and I have to say that I am underwhelmed by them. My first impression was that they looked like "gas station" knives with cheap laser "engraving" & "scrimshaw" work. The quality of the sheaths offered for a $1,400.00+ knife appeared to be...

    Scope Mounting Question

What I have been using on my last few scope mounts are precision parallel roll pins (in .001 increments) that I had which I place between the scope rail & the bottom of the scope under the elevation turret which is flat....This ensures a dead parallel mounting of the scope to the rail/receiver...

    300 RUM Help Please

A trick I have done for decades is using a witness mark on my action screws to detect any movement. You can use a silver/gold sharpie or a paint pen. I started doing this after I had accuracy problems because of the screws loosening up without me noticing ... all it takes is a quick glance to...

    Ultrasonic Cleaner Suggestions?

I have a cheap Harbor Freight that I use for jewelry & such and a Crest benchtop ultrasonic cleaner for cleaning guns, parts & such ... it's also heated which helps greatly. Because it's heated the parts dry very quickly after a water rinse. I tried using it for brass but it was unsatisfactory...

    Ruger #1

LOL - I remember when I was a 40 year old Elk hunter & hearing about rescues going on for a lost or injured 60 year old hunter. I would say to my self "What the heck is a 60 year old doing out in the woods" ... Well, now that I'm firmly in my mid 60's I make no mention of that anymore...
