Forgot to report back on my rifle after a range trip in mid November. I threw together a load using 168gr Ballistic tips and a max load of Varget. After following barrel break in procedures from X-caliber the load shot right at 3/4 inch at 100 yards. Well pleased with the rebarell on this #1.

It has been beautiful in the WV woods with the snow on the ground this week. Going to go out this evening for the last hour or two looking for a lone Doe.

I wanted to like those but just couldn’t get use to the butt stock/cheek weld area on it. Sold a beautiful one in 308 with less than a box of ammo through it.

Glock’s are Ugly to start with but they are reliable so they get a pass. I even own one that gets carried when I expect to get grimey and nasty.
