Same here in MI. Salt, brines, sand are most common but it depends on the temperature. Below 17°f salt doesn't work. Needless to say, it's a challenge to keep rust and corrosion away. Keeping them washed and waxed does help. My GMC is a 2018 and do my best to keep her clean. JD338

Should be a solid rig for shooting or hunting. FWIW, my 280 AI is a Hart #5 contour with 6 flutes. The 338 RUM is a Krieger #5 contour with 8 flutes. Both have the stiffness of a #5 but have the weight of a #4. JD338
