    Started Some Leather Working

Nice set of bags, they look great! Despite being slow, I really do like hand stitching for leather.

    Started Some Leather Working

I have not done any tooling as of now. I hope to get into it eventually but am not set up with the tools quite yet. Depending on what you are looking for it might not take much for me to be able to do. With some designs it only takes two or three stamps to make a nice pattern. If you can find...

    Started Some Leather Working

Funny you say that, I'm messing around with making them a bag right now, but I'm actually trying my hand at working with fabric instead of leather. I learned some hand stitiching, but that is mostly for odd situations. I have to get some basic instruction on using the sewing machine soon.

So Glad That I Tried Different Rifle Cartridges & Loads!

Pretty good ramblings if you ask me. It is nice for someone like me who doesn't have a ton of shooting experience to hear the progression of someone who does.

    Blocked by Midway

Yerp, that was probably the problem. I am not a big computer person myself, but my dad and older brother both are programers and I am involved in video game dev (as an artist and project manager, not a programer,) so I have picked up a bit here and there at this point. I still get stuck...

There we go. I might try selling some of these and see what happens.

    Started Some Leather Working

I recently made this simple wallet. It seemed like this should be much easier than making a knife sheath, but I was suprised to find that it took a similar amount of work because you have to do all the same steps. It is made out of veg-tan which has the nifty ability to be wetted and moulded...

Good Check-up, Great People, Great Organizations

That's nice to hear. It seems hard to find experiences like that these days, but the bad apples DON'T have to spoil the whole batch if we don't let them.

    Moving To Arkansas

I love living out here, I think it is pretty much my ideal place to live, but my house has foundation problems. Basically we have to re-build the entire foundation from under the house because it will rot out eventually. We did a couple sections ourselves because none of the proffessionals were...

Latest on suppressor removal from 1934 FFL

I think it is a real shame that you can't own open bolt firearms because they were labeled too easy to make full auto. They are full auto by nature, but can be made semi-auto, and the gov didn't like how simple it was to restore the full auto feature. Not only are open bolt, straight blow back...

Latest on suppressor removal from 1934 FFL

I just watched the original Jumanji last night. The hunter was shooting a suppressed rifle and nobody could hear him attempting to make shots at the main character, ha ha! I really hope these get de-regulated. If they do I bet my dad is going to want to slap a suppressor on his Tavor if he can...

Need some ideas with this rest

This is a good idea. If you want to go even more rudimentary and have an icepick handy, you can pre-punch the holes with that. I have even punched holes by hammering them in with nails. I have thick saddle needles for stitching leather, but I don't use them. Instead I have found it easier to...
