since i have a 7-08 w/10t, 7saum w/8t, i'll just go w/9t for the 284win. i kind build each caliber per cartridge to use a certain range of bullets. the less capacity of the cartridge the lower weight of bullets are used. 7-08 will be the lightest to 150, 284win somewhere between...
I'm looking into that cartridge as a just for fun with no specific use. I'm thinking about a 20-22" barrel using a twist between 9-10. Bullets between 90-150gr and possibly 165-168's. Ernie is my guess who'll have 1🤷♂️
i'm awaiting on 2 p320 carry police trade-ins in 45acp for parts and too build using the slides and mags for 1 or 2 full size 45's..........well the slides will still be carry/compact, but the barrels will be full sized (4.7")
rather than starting a new thread i'll just add to this 1. as previously stated i owned up until a couple of weeks ago an x-10 to add to the 226 (357sig). now i'm building frankensig's. icarus frames to start with and 2 norsso slides. i have an axiom 9mm from brownnells that was nearly...
Although some firearms i have are metric labeled i converted them........I sprinkled some water on them and said, "you were made metric and now you're imperial"🤔🫢🤣
i'm awaiting on a 25creed AR barrel (7T) and have 128edl-x, 131smk (not tipped) and a few others (128's are the lowest weight i have that's cup-n-core) including barnes 100tsx-bt's for some high speed which could get me over 3,300fps with the 26" barrel (+3 gas).
maybe something like Hispanic people that have 5 or 6 names (example, Luna Esperanza Camila Valentina Isabella)...............make it a mouth full almost like remington short action magnum:unsure:
i wish nh would make something bigger in the tv series. their 145 is just a bit small in horsepower for my needs, but would be great for a backhoe or trencher.
i went with a 7t for the 26" creed. built for 128-135's. velocities probably won't get over 3,100? lots of bearing surface compared to the 26cals of same weights within the same brand and type (match, hunting, etc). 7.5 wasn't an option or i'd gone that direction
seeing that it's available now (or at least in stock at natchez) it labeled for varmint light weight bullets and short range comp cartridges. i haven't found any load data and not sure if it's slower than 10x?
never given the 338fed a second look before i ran QL and QT numbers (not verified) w/16" barrel using lapua 250 loc/base fmj's @ 2.870". QT shows @ 1k yards it's still super with less than 60 moa in drop. so i changed the barrel to 20" and drop is just over 52moa. i was thinking of making...
i have 6 also (5 boys, 1 girl). she's #4 and glad she's the ONLY girl................i thought the boys were bad until she came along :ROFLMAO: .........wife thinks the same thing
congrats!
i'm 60 and my kids age is from 17-28yo. none are married or even dating (doesn't bother me) and the rate i'm going i won't be around to see any get married or hold any grandkids.....................oh well, it is what it is
now having a 22 and 25 on the way and already having several 6.5's should i just get the 6.............i do own a 243win ar, but probably not getting the 6. so far the only 25cal bullets i'll have is the sierra 131's and berger 133's. i might shoot as low in weight as the 128edl-x and may...
