JWhit. I recently bought a couple 6.5 PRC rifles. In one of the rifles, I noticed the same thing with partitions. LRAB and AB run fine at max COAL, but not the PT. Shortened to 2.85 and they cycle great. Will shot in the next day or two. Hoping to black bear hunt with it next week

Thanks. Loaded some 200 AB with a good load of RL-15. The Encore action allows the barrel to be 27 inches, thus getting the most for the powder. Accuracy was 1 - 1 1/2. Sighted in 2 inches high at 100 yds. Velocity was 2815. Think I am going to back off 2 grs. Aiming for 2750 ish for...

Have long admired Nosler rifles. Recently pick up a couple. I didn't realize that the M48 in 280AI came in both magnum and sporter barrels. I had only seen magnum. Was surprised today coming across one in sporter contour. About 1/2 lb lighter.

Had one and passed it along a few years ago. Mine shot well, I ended up using 200gr AB and removing the tips for a FP. If you need some brass, I have some once fired. Send me a PM

Funny thing. Was cleaning the man cave today and found a large bag of Rem 7mm Exp brass that was already fire formed for 280AI. Must have come with a previous rifle.

Switched 280 AI rifles and mistakenly gave all my 280 AI brass with the rifle I sold. Seems Nosler 280AI brass is hit or miss in quality. Seems other brands are hard to find. I am going to fire form some R-P brass to get started. Wondering about getting some Lapua brass and forming 280AI...

I have all the bases cover with 338WM, couple Whelens, etc. Was thinking if loading down a 338Wn would have less potential for accuracy, then a regular load in a 338-08 (ie 338 Fed - got those too) ? Probably over thinking it, just find one in nice shape and go from there
