I own a 1B in 6mm Remington and I love that rifle. It shoots very well and with the 26" barrel its a screamer.

I think it's about time that Lipseys through Ruger should commission a run of Ruger #1's with a 24" sporter weight barrel and a 1-8 twist in 6mm Remington. This is the 6.5 ManBun they are chambering currently. Build it just like this with this beautiful wood stock and a nice sporter 24" barrel.

Well you surely need to fill that 6mm slot and I cannot think of one better than a 6mm Remington. I sure like my Ruger 1B with the 26" barrel. It really shoots and you get the most out of a 6mm with that long barrel that you are going to get. Yeah I like the 6mm Remington.
