I know where one is at Jim, but you’re gonna have to deal with the warden to get it , it was her grandpas and her mother has it now. I have held it. It’s really niceFor me, I would love to see Ruger reintroduce the Deer Stalker 44 Carbine in 44 Rem Mag.
I would also like to stumble into a Winchester 94 in 32 Win Special.

That would be a keeper David!I think it's about time that Lipseys through Ruger should commission a run of Ruger #1's with a 24" sporter weight barrel and a 1-8 twist in 6mm Remington.
This is the 6.5 ManBun they are chambering currently. Build it just like this with this beautiful wood stock and a nice sporter 24" barrel.

I own a 1B in 6mm Remington and I love that rifle. It shoots very well and with the 26" barrel its a screamer. My departed friend Don had a No1 6mmRem years ago.
I have one in the safe that I picked up this spring. Need to work up a load for deer for next season.I own a 1B in 6mm Remington and I love that rifle. It shoots very well and with the 26" barrel its a screamer.
I have two of them! One is a carbine, big loop, with frontier engraving on it. I have the original box it came with, the Winchester tag that was hanging on it new on the shelf, the walnut sticker on the stock and all the new paperwork. It's one I truly love. For me, I would love to see Ruger reintroduce the Deer Stalker 44 Carbine in 44 Rem Mag.

Can't wait to see it in action. There are powders that I'm sure would be faster than IMR4350, but it's worked for me for a lot of years. I shoot the 100 gr. Patition with 43.4 grs. of IMR4350. 3170 pfs. I've shot a few 90 gr. Accubonds out of it as well and they were really accurate and were screamers. The 90 gr. E-tip load for my son's Ruger MKII also shot good in it.I have one in the safe that I picked up this spring. Need to work up a load for deer for next season.
I have both the Partition and AccuBond bullets on hand. Hope to get some range time after the first of the year. Can't wait to see it in action.
