I had two boxes (100 rounds of brass) of Winchester brass for my 6mm Remington a while back. Out of 100, there were about 26 if I recall that looked similar.

Birchwood Casey Barricade sprayed on a couple patches and pushed through the bore is what I have been doing for years now. Usually just a couple dry clean patches I run through it before I use it shooting again after taking it out of storage.

CZ Model 455: I purchased one of these a few years ago and really like a lot. It's accurate and a very attractive rifle too. It has a nice walnut stock and I put a 2x7 Leupold rimfire scope on it.

In two 30-06 rifles I have owned, a Remington 700 and a Ruger 1B, both have really liked IMR4350. The Accubonds were not out yet when I owned the Remington 700, but the Ruger really likes both the 165 gr. Partition and the 165 gr. Accubond. Seems like 56-58 grs. of IMR4350 is kind of a sweet...

Great cartridge and great bullet. Should your rifle for some odd/unknown/unheard of reason not like shooting the Accubonds, a 160 gr. Partition would be just perfect!

I do not own a 260 Remington or other 6.5's but if I did I too think that I would go with either the 125 gr. Partition or the 130 gr. Accubond. Both great bullets.

A friend sent this to me. This picture is for real. The old timer is his 79 year old friend walking into a deer stand with his son. His son took the picture and realized later that an eagle was flying overhead at the same time. How cool is that. I'd say that is the perfect Christmas card...

In my Remington Model 600 Centennial in 6mm Remington the flash is noticeable with it also. Using IMR4350. I don't think there is anything you can do really except a suppressor possibly to help out. Nature of the beast I'm afraid.

Just got Jeff's buck back from having it put onto a plaque for his Christmas present. I think he will like it a lot. Turned out very nice.

Congratulations on the elk and nice shooting. Those Accubonds sure deserve praise for how well they shoot and perform. Looks like they did exactly as they should. Penetrate deeply, expand nicely, and hold together.
