Those aren't terrible prices and they have a good selection. Almost bought some other powders (Grand and H4895 are calling my name) but I need to just use what I got! They have quite a few primers too.

That's some impressive velocity! Not much you can't hunt with that load. Modern powders have really improved a lot of the older calibers.

I haven't done it often, but have removed live primers very carefully and reused them without issue. Not sure I'd use them for anything important like hunting loads though.

I've heard good things about Peterson as well, I just haven't used any yet. All new brass goes through annealing, some just do a chemical wash to get rid of the discoloration.

Looks like Midway has the 136gr .277 ones in stock. I'd jump on these but I already have a ton of other excellent bullets in .277. Also appears Scheels has several diameters in stock.

Yikes, those ABLR's look like crap. I know they're soft and all but suprised they sold them. I've been keeping an eye on that website ever since someone on here mentioned it. Some great bullet options. They had 22 cal Trophy Bonded Bear Claws, which are wicked for deer.

Can't imagine the 140gr Partition or Accubond wouldn't put a hurting on an elk at any reasonable distance. I haven't shot any elk with mine but the 140gr PT has really impressed me on deer. The copper bullets are another option but they need more velocity to reliably expand where as the PT & AB...

Dad's favorite 270 powder was IMR4350. Used it for 130's and 150's.

Not sure why they have to discontinue all of them and relaunch a "new" one. Unfortunately getting and installing a switch is becoming ridiculously easy. We're seeing it more and more on the job. I'm glad to see them addressing it.

Also if using H110/W296 do NOT go below minimum charge weights and use magnum primers for best results. Its a great powder for top velocity in the 44 among others.
