    Signess- I've got it bad

1911's haven't been very friendly to me, but I think I've learned some technique to shooting them from reading forums. Part seems to be my grip pressure on the grip safety for 1. I think that explained why I hso many fre/ftf's rather than it being a mag or extractor issue. 40 years older...

    Signess- I've got it bad

I fell off the wagon after 4 years w/o a sip. I don't know what came over me. Just to grip it will get feelings back i don't think i want. I guess my age and possibly early stages of memory issues, but for the life of me I lost control...........what should I do about this hideous eye...

    1911 build

1911's aren't for me as my wrists don't like the grip angle. i'd say have at it and enjoy the building. the only handguns i've built are s/w, sig & glock. i plan on building some hk's and cz's

    Any 284win peeps here

since i have a 7-08 w/10t, 7saum w/8t, i'll just go w/9t for the 284win. i kind build each caliber per cartridge to use a certain range of bullets. the less capacity of the cartridge the lower weight of bullets are used. 7-08 will be the lightest to 150, 284win somewhere between...

    Any 284win peeps here

I'm looking into that cartridge as a just for fun with no specific use. I'm thinking about a 20-22" barrel using a twist between 9-10. Bullets between 90-150gr and possibly 165-168's. Ernie is my guess who'll have 1🤷‍♂️

    Signess- I've got it bad

rather than starting a new thread i'll just add to this 1. as previously stated i owned up until a couple of weeks ago an x-10 to add to the 226 (357sig). now i'm building frankensig's. icarus frames to start with and 2 norsso slides. i have an axiom 9mm from brownnells that was nearly...

It seems I'll made a good choice for a cartridge. Now to test it out with it arrives.

What is your favourite metric cartridge?

Although some firearms i have are metric labeled i converted them........I sprinkled some water on them and said, "you were made metric and now you're imperial"🤔🫢🤣

    Barrel twist

i'm awaiting on a 25creed AR barrel (7T) and have 128edl-x, 131smk (not tipped) and a few others (128's are the lowest weight i have that's cup-n-core) including barnes 100tsx-bt's for some high speed which could get me over 3,300fps with the 26" barrel (+3 gas).

    LS Tractor

i wish nh would make something bigger in the tv series. their 145 is just a bit small in horsepower for my needs, but would be great for a backhoe or trencher.
