Over the years I have had good results using the BLC-2 powder in everything from 222 Remington through to the 308 Winchester. I haven’t found any data on using this powder in the 6.5 Creedmoor so I’m wondering if anyone here has experience with this combination? Or knows where to find data?

You don’t need a gunsmith for either of these projects. A carpenter or general handyman could do them very adequately. I have done both and don’t consider myself anything above average in capability or competence.

In Canada the Athlon Rangecraft is $100 less than the Garmin which is usually $729.00. Understandable when you consider the Canadian dollar is sinking fast in value, less than $.70 American.

With my new 257 Roberts built rifle with the 1:7 twist I get the best accuracy from 120 and 128 grains. I haven’t tried 134-135 yet. In my old model 77 Ruger it loves 100 grain. Perhaps the most overlooked cartridge in history.

More free bore can be added at a later date if you thought it was a necessity. However I do understand the logistics of doing it during the initial build. I have done that myself on. 257 Roberts, never regretted it.
