I have a similar situation with a brick of Ginex LR primers I bought during the primer shortage era. They are a bugger to seat, especially in Nosler brass. I’ve just set them aside and will use them when I develop loose primer pockets.

I typically don’t weight sort my brass. The last few years I’ve been using Nosler, Norma and most recently Peterson brass and weights are within a grain or two.

Welcome to the forum. I load my Marlin 1895G with H322 and 300 gr Nosler Ballistic Silver Tips for 2100 fps. This load shoots .400” at 100 yards and has flattened WT Deer out to 160 yards. I do have hard cast bullets but haven’t loaded any to date.

If you are going to rebarrel you might as well just go with 280 AI. You can fire 280 Remington in the 280 AI chamber. A 9t is really all you need up to 180 gr bullets. If you are going higher bullet weight you might want to consider a bigger case.
As for cost, that will depend on the barrel...

Several years ago I did a side by side comparison of Swarovski and Meopta outside sporting goods store. I bought the Meopta for half the price.
