I lost a son 16 years ago. It's a hard thing to live with but the Lord is able to give peace and comfort to a troubled mind.

When we don't understand we can lean on Isaiah 55 :8-9 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Thanks Vince. SIL has been at Oregon Health Science University for a Month. Catherine and I drove over Thursday, on Friday we loaded him into a chartered ambulance and brought him home. Hospice provider will start on Monday. Not sure how long he has but the poor guy is sick. Docs tell us there really isn’t anything more to do. Pretty sad times around here.

In the beginning of 2017 my Mother was diagnosed with cancer and passed in mid August of that year. She lasted 3 days in hospice. The saddest thing to witness. I feel for your family , it is hard.

Sorry Don. Continued prayers for you and your family. Not cancer related but my mom, sister and brother-in-law were under hospice care. They are wonderful caring people.
