    Drops from the tripod

Thanks! I want to be clear...I don't build anything (I'm dangerous with a Dremel Tool! :) ) But I have fun loading, shooting, and trying to think outside the box to get stable field shooting positions for my specialty pistols.

    Drops from the tripod

As long as I can see trace or my impact I enjoy shooting at small targets at distance, as it kinds of sharpens your wind/mirage reading pencil

    Drops from the tripod

Wind + Terrain=Humility & Fun! Shooting specialty pistols at distance is not that much harder than rifles....It's Just Drop & Drift. Yes, your drop and drift is more, but the accuracy can be the same. It may be harder, but it is not as much as most people think.

    Adventure at Big Water Safari

On Monday, we found another animal on my hit list. A nice Mountain Reedbuck. Between his position to us and high grass we had a 2-hour standoff, with him just standing there and not moving. I think Tom fell asleep standing during this odd experience. The Mountain Reed Buck won this contest...
