I wonder if W780 is the powder that Winchester uses in the 458 win. mag. Safari load. If so it may be some really good powder, because it can propell a 500gr. Nosler Solid to an astonishing 2240 fps !!! That kind of a velocity from that little 458 win. mag. case with that large monolithic solid...

Please bring back the Fail-Safe as a reloading component... maybe without the Lubalox coating... That was a darn good bullet. If Nosler is steping into the dangerous game market with the Solids, it could make the solids in 366. 423. and 510. calibers. And Partition in 423. and 510. calibers. 140...

Nosler4 could you post some pictures of those new solids? Brand new bullets or maybe recovered from test medium? ( if they didn`t punch right through the medium :twisted: ) In the catalogue there is only a sketch. Much thanks in advance.
