Loaded 1.3mm from the lands with Norma MRP (RL22) gave
948m/s in a 700 Sendero 26" and 918 in my Lakelander 389

The 130 grains TSX/TTSX have taken over as hunting bullet on moos.
Still 1.3mm from the lands but loaded with N-560...

I have shot 18 Fallow dear with the 6mm xc and 2 Capreolus Capreolus this year. Will change to 90 grains Accubond and 85 grains Barnes for next hunt on Roe dear (capreolus capreolus). For the Fallow dear I use other caliber...

I have used barnes bullets...
I would not used 6xc or 6.5x47 on big game. They are not capable. In norway 6.5x55 Swedish mauser are used on moos, and is a little anemic.
I used my Blaser R8 in 6xc with berger hunting vld 105 grains on fallow dear. The bullet did not penetrate more then one lounge. Maybe because distance...
I have not tested this bullet enough to have exact data but...

Thank you for load data.
I scratched the 203b load and used norma URP.
Made a load ladder:
38.5 grains V0= 825m/s
39 grains V0= 833m/s
39.5 grains V0= 870 ( 871,869.7, 869.7)
No pressure at all. Have to trye 40 and 40.5 grains)

Thank you.
Have to bye some Norma URP/RL17 and reload the cartridge with 37.5 and 37 grains norma 203b.
Have to create a load for Nosler accubond 90 grains. Must have huntingbullet for fox and beaver.
Is this load safe?
I have not loaded for 6mm xc before, and load data is hard to find using scandinavian powder.
Got some Berger VLD hunting 105 grains bullets.
Norma list load data: 36-37.6 grains norma 203b col 67mm
I loaded some: col 68.6mm (Max col: 68.83mm)

This summer, nice and warm 18C. Not the sam day and not loaded at the same time- may be some different COL.
Norma MRP seams to burn slower than RL22. Rl22 more like Norma 15/ NCRA15

No, did not see any different behavior between RL22 and MRP.
The problem was more bad shooting- slippery, cold not get the front rest not to slid forward, bad recoil handeling.
Yes, nothing like hunting moos in the mountains.
