After spending extensive time researching muzzleleoaders, I ordered the new CVA ACCURA IN 50 CAL. It is supposed shoot sub moa. I saw a load listed for this muzzleloader using a 245gr Powerbelt and 100gr of 777. I would like to use Nosler slug. Can anyone make a suggestion. Yes, I am new to...
Does anyone have any experience with loading a 150gr partition in a 300 Weatherby? My particular rifle is a standard Weatherby SubMoa. Thanks for any help you may offer.
After a rough start in our rifle season, I was able to finish out a 300 RUM project and put it to the test. Opening morning shot at a nice buck chasing a doe and missed. (200 + yds)....Then missed two others that did not present ideal shot opportunities. Frustrated, I went home and finished...

This year was a much harder hunt because of hot weather. Elk hunting is usually a challenge to begin with, but we were able to get two nice bulls. I used my .338 RUM loaded with 225gr Accubonds and my best friend used his .300 Win loaded with 180gr Accubonds.
We both shot our bulls the same...
Well I ried the load listed today for the 200 AB using RL22. I loaded 76gr through 80gr and got a top speed of 2988. Poor groupings in my MOA Weatherby. I will have to try another bullet, I guess.

Thanks

Has anyone worked this load? If so please help. Time is running out and my new rifle comes in on Wednesday. I have my trusty .338 Ultra Mag shooting 225gr Accubonds and want to take my new .300 weatherby as my back up rifle using 200 gr Accubonds. The rifle is a Vanguard SubMOA.

Very excited to report that RE 22 is just as you'll said it was. I used both 60 and 61 gr in Remington cases and Fed 210M primers. COL 3.30
I can hardly wait to hunt with these. It shot 0.5 in groups all day!!!
