Nice job on a very detail documentation of your hunt. You make a valid point about weight and handling of your rifle in the field. I will admit that most of rifles are too heavy for stalk hunting.

Instead of the 7mm08 AI you may want to take a look at the 7mm SAW. It is based on the 7mm08 and Alpha makes brass already , no need to waste components on fire-forming.

This evening UPS dropped off a box from Arken. They replaced mine with a new one , no explanation on my returned one. This one didn’t include a battery for the lit reticle. It has been a full 3 weeks since first contacting them. It was a bugger of a time to get a RGA label out of them.
