    FWIW Guy, You are exactly right. I was just using the nickle brass to make it look good. It does look very good, but I am not sure it is worth the extra pain. After all the accuracy is what I am really after. Thanks for the comments. Lawson

    I did chamfer inside and out, and the scrapings seemed to mostly be the black coating. Maybe they are fine. It is not a max load. I have just never loaded the nickle plated brass before so I thought maybe I needed to do something special. Thanks for the response! Lawson
