Thank you for the detail. I'm going to load some rounds with a seating depth of 35 and 40 here over lunch and send em. If I send it trending in the right way, I'm going ot do a full seat test starting at 35 off. Clarksburg is a great area. Some very good friends of the family are from that...

Thanks! I lived in Shinnston for a few years, worked out of Clarksburg until i took a promotion that moved me to the Pittsburgh PA area. I'm in Central PA now. Great country out your way, love the fly fishing there.

Thanks. I was almost a full grain over max with no pressure signs what so ever on a fairly warm day for us. I stopped there. I will say my speeds, even this much above max, were still slower than factory but i really felt like I was pushing it way too much.

Which user is Jorey? I agree the numbers aren't really a factor at close ranges. I use them to double check my handload more than anything. I've been taught that bad ES = combustion. Powder, Amount of powder, Primer, Neck Tension.. That's what I go to when those numbers are off. Which I have...

I have H4350 and N560 on my shelf. I do not have any IMR powders, it's super hard to find here and I can't find any of the Alliant stuff. I may need to burn some of my own powder to see what I get and then go to FIL and tell him we have to swap.

Father In Laws can be, but the Mother In Laws... that's where the faint of heart drop out haha!! I honestly have never went further than .03 from the lands on any of my rounds. I wonder if I'm too close on my 6.5 PRC too and that's why I can't get the tight group like I want. Everything I...

Thank you for the quick response. I don't disagree on the H1000, but it was what he wanted to use because he has so much of it. I've told him we should consider another powder as well. Before I tell him we have to switch powders, i just want to ensure I'm not over looking something here. I...

    Reloading Help 25-06
