Okay, like I said, I have the 1:10 twist and everything I have read says 150 - 220 grain. But my Father-in-law shoots some home brewed 115 grains out of his 1:10 30-06 and its deadly accurate!
Wasn't sure if that capability is caliber specific or if velocity has much to do with it either

Bear Hunter, I have thought about using their loading setups, but both of my relatives are 2 hours either way travel distance. So that makes saving ANY money practically impossible. It is a good idea if I head out their way but that isn't too often.
